Every DCC displays different icons for different USD primitives in the Scenegraph hierarchy. Often times it is hard to differentiate between different locations in the Scenegraph hierarchy.
Various DCC's have created their own icon sets, however, there is no consistency between DCC's.
It may be beneficial to artists to have a consistent set of icons to use across various DCC's representing various USD prim types.
