A few suggestions:
ctrl+left mouse click: Open/swap list on the left side
ctrl+right mouse click: Open/swap list on the right side.
shift+left mouse click: Opens list to the side of current list on left side.
shift+right mouse click: Opens list to the side of current list/renderview/uvview on right side.
That would please both right and left list-people. It would also be more flexible, as this makes it easy to combine lists at both sides.
It could also be useful to be able to "ctrl+right mouse click" to open the schematic on the right side.
You could also do this with some of the kits:
ctrl+right/left click one of the icons opens a kit-layout which combines all the kit-menus, and maybe a relevant list or view (e.g. groups with the passify kit?) .
