The update does not allow access to the camera for some banking applications, preventing the recognition of the user's face. #4813

Expected Behavior

This is the first time this has happened in an update. I never had similar problems, always use the rom without root and never had any problem with my bank accounts, the problem is that in the last update does not allow access to the camera to some banking applications preventing recognize the user's face. And instead of activating the camera to focus on the face of the owner of the device the application can not do it and instead displays an empty white box that never gets to focus on the face. Something that prevents normal transactions. The application is called Interbank: "pe.com.interbank.mobilebanking".

Current Behavior

The problem occurs every time you try to perform an operation, making the mobile application useless. It occurs when installing and reinstalling the application, clearing data and cache. It happens when restarting the phone, it does not stop happening. Normally when banking applications are restricted by modifications or root access when you open the application an alert message comes up that prevents you from manipulating the application. For this case it does not happen, you can normally enter the application to see your money, but the problem lies in trying to validate the identity of the user.

Possible Solution

I have no idea what could have happened, because I never had this problem before and when contacting the bank they confirm that there is no error, maybe it is because not all applications are given access to the camera even if you give permission manually.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Happens all the time
  2. It also happens when the device is rooted.

This is known issue in AOSP roms for sweet after MIUI 13 vendor update The camera app is looking for wrong camera id for front cam Unfortunately I don't know any fix for this yet. I don't even know if it's app side issue or ROM side yet I'll update and share here if I find something ((: I hope you understand
