Describe the Bug

The app Google Wallet do not grants payments of registered credit card. The message of Wallet is: "Il dispositivo non soddisfa i requisiti di sicurezza. Non puoi fare pagamenti contactless con questo dispositivo. Potrebbe essere rooted o eseguire software non certificato....". The problem is due to the fact that Play Integrity API Checker shows only MEETS BASIC INTEGRITY pass, but not pass MEETS DEVICE INTEGRITY, because of Bootloader Unlocked.

Steps to Reproduce

Open Google Wallet app and it will show the Message Above as in description, or open Play Integrity API Checker app and check do not pass MEETS DEVICE INTEGRITY and STRONGINTEGRITY, but for Wallet only DEVICE INTEGRITY and BASIC INTEGRITY is required to work.

Expected Behavior

To use app Wallet to permits payments, otherwise the rom is useless.

Possible Solution

To release a rom with Play Integrity Fix applied directly to not be forced to root device.

this is taking quite sometime. It's a problem that's plaguing a lot of roms apparently.

This is due the new api implemented on Google side with a check for MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY. For now, the workaround is using root and the well known PIF module (search for it as we won't support). Nothing is planned till now for 13 branch, so closing this as won't fix for now
