Wifi, Bluetooth not working | PixelExperiencePlus | lime #5923

Describe the Bug

After clean installing the ROM, wifi, and bluetooth doesn't work. On turning on WiFi, the device hangs for a moment, and turns the WiFi off automatically. Same for bluetooth.

Mobile internet wasn't working, but it seems to work just fine now.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Clean install Pixel Experience ROM.
  2. Setup the device.
  3. Turn on Wifi and Bluetooth.
  4. Device hangs for few seconds.
  5. WiFi and Bluetooth turns off automatically.

Expected Behavior

The device is supposed to find WiFi networks, bluetooth devices and connect to them.

Possible Solution

I have the same issue, my device is Redmi note 8 ginkgo, it started happening after installing the last update.

WiFi and Bluetooth now work...

I entered *#*#4636#*#*

Wi-Fi API -> disconnect Wi-Fi Status -> Refresh stats

It detected the networks and connected without problems....some strange reason

I restarted Android and the WiFi stays up

This solution does not work on my device. Thankfully mobile data works now, but Wifi and Bluetooth are still not working.

I might have found a solution. Simply restarting the device does not work. I read on some XDA thread that some android functions are reset when you reboot to the bootloader and back to the system.

I reboot to bootloader and stayed there for 30 seconds and reboot back to the system. WiFi and Bluetooth now work.

Rebooted several times after this, just to be sure, and everything works just fine.
