Ideas:

Different healing mechanics: Needing to consume food in order to heal. Possibly lose heath over time. Health could also affect the size of the slime.
Transformation/Mimic mechanic: Difficult to implement, unlikely to do so.
Multiply and divide: Mechanically, I'm thinking about Tainted Eve from TBoI. Would be kinda tricky to implement.

All I have for now. Will update once I gather more ideas.

Some of these could be put into their own traits tbh.
