Output folder silently returns to default after change #142

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click on "..." to change output folder (default is home folder)
2. Click on "Convert" to start conversion
3. Output folder returns to default

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
As you understand, winff produces a lot of logfile and converted file video in
home folder, instead of in a selected folder.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Winff 1.40 on ubuntu 11.10 64 bit.

Please provide any additional information below.
There are no special characters in output folder, as you seen below
"/home/simone/Video/Converted".

Hate to say it, but I can not reproduce it on my system. I hope this is not
something specific for 64 bit.

For debugging: can you put the contents of you ~/.winff/cfg.xml file in this
bug report, both just before you hit convert and afterwards, after it changed
back?

What is your setting in the "Preferences" menu for "Remember last used
directory"?

@tigerjack

Can you please re-download latest version and check.

This was fixed a few days ago, but I would like to verify that the problem
hasn't recurred.

Thanks,
Ian

Sorry, indeed, I can reproduce it on my system with the winff from the web page.

Seems like the fix is on it's way.

Please verify that this bug is fixed by winff version 1.4.0-2~ppa1o which
should be available somewhere in the next 12 hours.
