PSP doesn't support encoded MP4 videos #162

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Transacode a video (.mov or .avi) using the PSP preset setting

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expected it to play on my PSP, but the PSP doesn't recoginize the encoded
video stream in the MP4. The audio is fine.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.4.2 on Windows 7 (x64) and a version on Linux

After some testing i found out that the PSP doesn't support h.264 High Profile
encoded videos. By changing to preset to encode the videos using the h.264 Main
Profile the videos are playable again.

The option '-profile:v main' must be added to presets.

Hmm, we should have responded earlier. I think Ian would be very interested in
this bug comment.
