username issue with windows #96

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. windows install, user with username of the form "xxxx & xxxxx"
2. press convert, nothing happens
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
cmd window flashes up breifly

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
windowsxp

Please provide any additional information below.
test issue with a different username and it worked fine, my guess is ampersand 
is an xml special character and causing issues.
