2 years ago I assume you are referring to Arles which was a source of inspiration for EZWebGallery 😊 I understand that this is a useful feature, so I leave this issue opened. However it is not as trivial as it appears to implement. I will keep it for the next major version of EZWebGallery.

Thank you very much for your reply. There is no urgency.
The software that I previously used was Express Thumbnail Creator aka Instant Gallery Maker. I wasn't aware of Arles.

I recently discovered EZWebGallery and I love it. The only feature I would very much like to see are optional captions, e.g. [FILE:BaseName], under the Thumbnail images. This is something I very much like in an older program I have used in the past.
