Please add AppImage for easy installation #436

AppImage is a pretty good lightweight format and would help to avoid installing a lot of packages that are otherwise not needed and fiddling around with the compiling. One could just install and run the AppImage and that would make things very easy.

Thanks if you are able to do this at some time in the future.
