Message log errors #65

After lot of merging today we have some errors in the message log after playing the game. We should probably deal with them at some point. I attached the screenshot:

Additionally, my fix for outlining for #38 introduced a new error in the message log. It is due to a lack of validation if an object exists when trying to set one of its variables.
