Creating a Fork (privately for your use only) #47

Hi, if anyone is interested in creating a fork of the repo to work privately on your project but still maintain the advantages of switching to different computers and just git pulling, and being able to create an issue as part of you report for Mike to read without the worry of someone else reading it and using your idea's you can create a Fork, which is a private repo only you and whoever u give access to can see (ideally Mike)

to do this, simply Click on the "Fork" option in the top right of Github.com and chose your name, this will create a Repo that is directly connected to your accounts (github name/DinoPark-2017) it'll look like.

after that go into your private repo and go to setting and then teams, remove both of the teams and create a new one and add Mike to it, once you've done that go back to those settings in your private repo add that new team that is exclusively just you and Mike and give it admin rights (so Mike can access everything like you can)..

Now you've got a private repo that is currently up to date with the latest version of the main repo but privately yours, you can also go into settings and add the "issues" tab which you can use as a form of documentation for your report.

Enjoy.

p.s. enjoy the spam notifications Mike :dagger:

Yey!

Please don't forget to add me as admin, so I get your credit cards and your Mum's mobile number can access your code and issues. I can confirm that with a brief overview report, addressing issues, that your construction diaries, etc, on github can be considered to be part of your report, if you have been documenting things properly. There will be no need to duplicate, if the details are sufficient. Ask me if you are not sure. However, you WILL need to submit your cover sheet via Blackboard, even if your report is substantially on GitHub
