jurassic park operation genesis (reference)

This issue is to show the game i believe based on the tutorial description of what we discussed in the tutorials, would be the best thing to angle our test bed towards.

The basics of the game is that you are the new manger hired to create a run a new Jurassic park, in the main game you have to research the dinosaurs the same way as in the movies (from their fossils and amber to get DNA). you also had to take care of your guests, by making attractions and making them feel safe in the park. finally you must look after the dinosaurs too, researching cures to dinosaur diseases, to making sure they have food and are happy with the other dino's in their cage. for example a a ankylosaurus is unhappy by itself and you must create a least 2 for them to heard and be happy.

There are other elements that would be more useful for us to model our test bed after such as:

-weather systems, these change in game month, by month and include thunderstorms, rain, heatwaves, tornadoes and sunny.

• animals all react as individuals to stimuli, this can lead to fighting amongst big hunters (t-rex), and causes smaller hunters to work as a pack (raptors),
• herbivores behave as herds but can also deafened as individuals. -The camera for the game is a floating style but, when a dinosaur is selected the camera zooms in on the animal but still allows the floating action whilst tracking the animals, -if you are looking at the status of a dinosaur then you can quickly switch to another of the same species.
• all animals have a health, stress, hunger, thirst and tiredness level that dictates what action the animal will take next. -all animals have a more detailed information you can view if the animal is selected, including their age and how many kills they've made in their life. and if the dinosaur is dead how it died.

lastly there is a special mode called site b, this is unlocked after doing all the games missions and give the player a blank island to create dinosaurs without research and with out the rest of the park. This allows them to free roam and creates a wild environment for the dinos to live in, this is what i Believe would be more worth looking into more than the main game mode.
