hey,

because i dont know much about UE, i wanted to know if pixel art (website) would be a good site to do the character designs on? is it compatible? are there certain formats i need to download? do i download the frames or the actual gif?

In my opinion would be the best to do the art in GIMP because it's easier to export it with a black background in various formats. But that is just something I prefer.

Unfortunately when it comes to questions like this I can't say much, I'm not at home within the area. All I can say is in our last game "Trashy" we did go pixelart stlye, and yes one of our teammates made it in GIMP so that works!
