Introduce the Game: Hatopia Genre (1-20 Seconds) • Top-Down • Dungeon Crawler • Rogue-like • 2D w/ 3D Environmental Objects Features (1-30 Seconds) • Multiple Enemy Types – Scorpions, Cactus (Environmental Hazards) • Boss Battles- Corporal Scorp, Train Fight, Steady Reddy • Procedurally Generated Levels (1-8) • Hat Pickups- Give the Player extra perks for their Gun & Shooting Abilities • Controller Support • Music Inspirations (1-30 Seconds) • Binding of Isaac • Super Meat Boy (Story/ Objective relation) • Western Films (Looking at you Clint…) • Early Inspiration- Book of Eli. (Too gritty, we wanted something more light hearted) Objectives (1-60 Seconds) • Traverse different levels to progress to the next floor. • Player is given a health system. 3 Total ticks of health. Take 3 instances of damage and its game over. • Kill any enemies that pose a threat. Even static environmental objects. • Collect Hats to increase your power. • Defeat the bosses that are keeping you from your Unique Hat. Story (1-20 Seconds) • You play as our protagonist Zeke Hattinson • You have been separated from your Prized Hats by the Outlaw Steady Reddy • It’s your mission to retrieve your hats and defeat the Outlaw along with his trusted comrades.
