PGDSO terms without is_a parents

imbibition (PO:0007022) seedling growth (PO:0007131) and shoot emergence (PO:0007130) need is_a parents

I am posting this so there is a record of it.

Seedling growth and shoot emergence were discussed at the POC meeting on 9-9-11.

Seedling growth should be renamed "seedling development stage". It should be is_a vegetative growth rather than part of germination.

new proposed name and def.: seedling development stage: A vegetative growth stage that has as a participant a whole plant during the interval between germination and development of the first adult leaves. Comment: This terms is used only for seed plants, although non-seed plants may have a comparable phase during which they produce juvenile or transition leaves.

Note: After the PGDSO is revised, the parent of this term will be sporophyte vegetative development stage, so definition will change slightly. Also, the numbering of the children of vegetative growth stage is messed up now. Should we renumber the stages?

shoot emergence should be is_a seedling development stage. See: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3324056&group\_id=76834&atid=835555 for new terms and definitions.

Imbitition should be renamed "imbibition stage" and should be is_a 0 germination stage (renamed from 0 germination). Will need to work on definitions of imbibition stage and germination stage as we rework the PGDSO.

From the POC meeting on 9-20-11, the following names and is_a parents were assigned:

seed imbibition stage (PO:0007022) is_a seed germination stage seedling development stage (PO:0007131) is_a vegetative growth stage seedling shoot emergence stage (PO:0007130) is_a seedling development stage
