Issue with import files for GO and ChEBI #382

Open cooperl09 opened 8 years ago

There is an issue with the import files for GO and ChEBI, as compared to the other import files being loaded into TO (PO, EO, PATO). The terms are lacking the majority of the metadata such as synonyms, definition, etc. These are not displaying on the browser correctly, for example see: http://browser.planteome.org/amigo/search/ontology?q=CHEBI:15693

This can be changed in the makefile. We often take minimal annotation subsets to keep the modules small. I'll look at modifying these later.

It looks like the new import files contain more of the information such as id, and synonyms, but they do not show up when the TO file is opened in Protege. Is there a way to change this?

They should be there. This is what I get when I load plant_trait_ontology.obo.owl:

I don't see the id in your screen shot above, but you are correct, the synonyms show up. ID is in the file but does not display
