When attempting handshake with server, exception is thrown 'Handshake Response: Operation not supported' #16

handshake_cb throwing exception when file.load_contents_finish is called : 
"Handshake Response: Operation not supported".  

Using software:
-rhythmbox-ampache plugin (from ubunut repo 0.11.1+svn34-0ubuntu1, also tried 
latest source from site)
-Ubuntu 12.10
-Rhythmbox 2.97
-Ampache 3.6-Alpha1

I'd say you're suffering from something similar to this:

Check that gvfs and glib is installed and contains the necessary modules for 
your ampache uri.
