As the current Debian/Ubuntu maintainer of the rhythmbox-ampache package I have
been testing rhythmbox-ampache with the current version of rhythmbox
(2.90.1~git20110919.2dfea6-3) and it is totally broken.
The plugin does not show up in rhythmbox's plugins menu, and when starting
rhythmbox from the command line there is no usefull output to determine what
the problem is.
FYI Ubuntu is considering switching back to using rhythmbox as the default
media player for the upcoming precise (12.04) release. Debian Wheezy is due to
freeze some time in June and having this plugin working would be of great
benifit to both Debian and Ubuntu users.
If you could look into this it would be greatly appreciated. :)
