Describe the bug

No apps start at all. I get the same screen for all the apps.

This is what I get:

Screenshot 2024-04-04 at 11 46 07 AM

I tried all the standard stuff such as clearing PlayData, uninstalling and reinstalling, using the latest nightly, tried multiple apps, tried running the .app directly in app data, in ~/Applications too, etc.

Trying to open it through the Terminal gives me:

➜  Applications open com.miHoYo.GenshinImpact.app                                                                                                                                                                                 [11:56:06]
The application cannot be opened for an unexpected reason, error=Error Domain=RBSRequestErrorDomain Code=5 "Launch failed." UserInfo={NSLocalizedFailureReason=Launch failed., NSUnderlyingError=0x6000032ae4f0 {Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=162 "Unknown error: 162" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Launchd job spawn failed}}}

Steps to reproduce

  1. Update to macOS 14.4.1 (23E224)
  2. Install Playcover nightly
  3. Install any IPA
  4. Try starting any app

Expected behaviour

The apps should start.

Same problem here. AlsomacOS 14.4.1 (23E224), PlayCover Nightly 702. Running Honkai: Star Rail and crashes all the time after the first normal startup.

The macOS error output: 1433.txt

@tbergeron, you may try right-clicking the app in PlayCover and choose Clear PlayChain Data, as mentioned in #1429. Your app may run normally.

I had read somewhere that I needed to start the game with SIP disabled first. I tried everything and then gave up. Rebooted to Recovery OS and re-enabled SIP... and now everything works! 🤦‍♂️

Thanks for your suggestions, I hope you figure out what's wrong on your end.
