Font Characters in Chat do not work (With DeluxeChat)

What happened?

When typing in chat, say I want to add an emoji, I do :smile:. I would expect it to return the 😄 font character, but instead, it just shows :smile:. If there is a character next to it, the font will show in chat. The same thing happens when doing /e smile and copying and paste the unicode character in. It just for some reason does not show it unless a character is directly next to it.

Steps to reproduce the issue

Use DeluxeChat
Use a font character
It will not show unless a character is directly next to it.

Try latest version of plugin and enabling the chat preview.

Still occurs with 3.2.0b-beta4 https://bin.bloom.host/zotoqokiwi.properties

Also works fine with EssentialsXChat but does not work with DeluxeChat (that error occurs)

I don't own DeluxeChat so I can't do any test. Seems to be a problem of DeluxeChat editing chat packets and interfering with ItemsAdder.
