Having issues with 1.19.2 clients on a 1.17.1 server

What happened?

1.19.2 clients are kicked on death and cannot reconnect.

Tried the latest viaversion both on spigot and jenkins. problem is resolved when I remove IA. Contacted viaversion support via discord and they told me that IA was causing the connection to drop.

Steps to reproduce the issue

1.19.2 clients login fine and play
player dies
gets kicked
cant reconnect
get error "Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.DecoderException: unexpected null component"
