Says server is down when it isn't? #1109

I was in the middle of price checking one of my quad tabs, ran about 30-40 items and then trade macro just stopped, and now it won't launch saying the pathofexile servers are down... But they aren't. Can't launch, Asked in global, no on knows anything and theirs is working fine, checked FAQ and trouble shooting. Nothing. Tried re-installing, restarting my computer. Nothing works.

Having exactly the same issue, nothing works as well...

Strange. Website now asking for captcha. I'm wondering if I made too many price requests and now they've flagged my IP or something?

I contacted support for path of exile. Apparently there's a new "live search limit" that is IP based. I think it's bugged tbh. I don't even run live search's. I was price checking my quad dump tab. Got about 1/4 of the way through and it just STOPPED. Any macro program that uses my Sessid will not log in. It's like my sessid is blocked. The website now requires captcha every 2-5 minutes. This is making the game unbearable tbh. I'm not going to price check 1000's of items individually.

Have the same issue. Tried to Privacy Pass Chrome extension. It resolved the site captcha request, but the app still not working.

Support responded back with "Hey there,

Thank you for your patience.

We have heard back from the appropriate team members and I'm afraid that we are unable to remove these restrictions for you. I'm sorry that we cannot be more helpful in this regard.

Regardless of outcome. I've just given all my shit away, gave my guild away, and am uninstalling. Good luck and happy hunting everyone. Let me know when the stupid bullshits over and maybe i'll come back.

Just hit me with another message, said i supposedly had 40,000 requests in a short amount of time, which is completely outlandish.

To clarify further, the appropriate team member has let us know that you, or a third party tool that you were using, sent over 40,000 requests to our services in a short period of time. Consequently they are not willing to disable this restriction currently, due to the strain that this volume of requests puts on the services in question.
