normal from mesh is read only #9

i installed this addon but when ever i import .x direct x file it shows some paython errors Blender 27-11-2022 10_41_05 Blender Info Log 27-11-2022 10_49_22

Ok, thank you for the detailed messages. I can see that you are using 3.3 and that is a long-term support release so after many changes in Blender I will try to update the code again for this version.

Both of the following worked for me on Blender 3.3.1:

Using codermobs_bee and codermobs_snake from minetest.org's bucket_game (in bucket_game/mods/codermobs/codermobs/models). It works fine on my computer, so for me to be able to help, you must:

And remember, if after updating you have a different error, make a new issue and also do the above.

  • a134870 after fixes by AGalGR-SuS
  • b045ee1 even already worked on the old version (from Jan 14, 2022)

Using codermobs_bee and codermobs_snake from minetest.org's bucket_game (in bucket_game/mods/codermobs/codermobs/models). It works fine on my computer, so for me to be able to help, you must:

  • State your Blender version (all 3.3.x versions use the 3.3 directory, so your exact version is not shown)
  • Provide an x file for me to be able to test and fix the problem, after I can repeat that error.

And remember, if after updating you have a different error, make a new issue and also do the above.

Thanks its now working the .x file is now opning and working
