Hi, thanks for the bug report however insufficient information is provided on what exactly is odd about the numbering. We have interpreted the title as 'Use case should be 1a', and however the checking for whether the project exists should be after attempting to add the client to the project at step 2 and therefore the extension numbering is correct.
