The Google Fonts page for Roboto (http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Roboto)
on my laptop displays the original cut of Roboto, even though the page says it
has been updated as of 14 January 2015 to utilize the new 2014 cut.
On my iPhone, the new version is displayed perfectly, even though it is on the
exact same webpage.
I would expect that the new font appears correctly regardless of device.
My computer is running Mac OS X Yosemite and my iPhone is on iOS 8. Using the
latest Safari and Chrome.
If you look at the screenshots, it is easy to notice the difference between the
two cuts in the capital ‘R’.
Why doesn't a computer utilize the proper version of Roboto?
