Null selection throws an error #51

Clearing selection causes the selectionChange handler to fire, but there's no element to check.

I don't understand why the rendering function of a dropdown is registering a selectionChange handler. Then again I haven't worked with the dropdowns that much.

Both dropdowns register a change handler

This seems to be in some odd testing cases only
