Add some things to .gitignore #60

Ignore a virtualenv in the main dir, which could be created while doing development, and the virtualenvs which are created as part of testing.

I have just noticed this MR contains 2 commits which belong to another PR but which are not merged yet. I will rebase and resubmit.
