All PolyNET data gathered since 2004 shall be repprocessed with Picasso.
Thus configurations need to be established and a solution for the depol calibration constant for lidars which did not yet had a +-45° calibration method need ot be found:
Possible options:
a) ignore depol at all
b) use manual derived calibration consant according log book of Polly sytsem (manual constant might change when system changes)
c)Perform old-sytle molcecular calibration method, i.e. like for hte backscatter "simply" calibrate the depol in particle free regions.
