The app currently has a lot of code that should be abstracted (ie. the same code is found in multiple locations).

Ways the code can be abstracted:

Using styleOverrides in the MUI theme
Enveloping an MUI component in a custom component with modifications to the CSS (using sx prop or other)
Storing variables that represent a consistent property across multiple components or elements (eg. storing the Accordion component padding)
