That's fantastic, thanks @qinglee! Do you happen to know if there is a way to make this .sty file require 0.99994+ explicitly? If not, no worries, but if that's possible then might be worth adding that in after the ifxetex requirement

Primitive \XeTeXinterwordspaceshaping is introduced by XeTeX 0.99994. So we can use it as a flag as my PR.
