Accessing help in full screen crashes the application

Scenario: The application is run using full screen

When the help function is used either by using the `help' command or from the menubar, the window pops up as expected, but when I close the help window, the application crashes.

Note: This does not happen always, this happens occasionally but the when it happens, the application crashes

Steps to reproduce

Type out the help command several times and close it. In one of the tries, it would crash the application

## :question: Issue severity Team chose [`severity.VeryLow`] Originally [`severity.High`] - [x] I disagree **Reason for disagreement:** This bug may cause inconvenience to **new users** who may access the help function several times when they are getting used to the system. Hence, when the system crashes after accessing help a few times, it inconveniences them. Moreover, this bug is not something cosmetic, so it should not be of very low severity.
