TIMELINE. JSON newline \n in the description field #203

Wonderful program.

I'm using a JSON data file to great success, with one caveat. In the
description field for my events, I have a lot of data, and I want to be
able to separate them by newlines. When I include \n in the string, the \n
disappears, but no newline is formed. I have full confidence in the fact
that I am making a basic syntax error. Am I? Is it possible to put a
newline in the description field?
