Beating the final level on a retry shows the ending #2877

A player beat the boss level of the final area, after retrying. The final cutscene played, but they didn't get credit for clearing the area.

Retrying a level should always count as a failure and should never play any cutscenes after the level.

Here is a save slot at the final uncleared boss level. I tried topping out and tried finishing with a low score. In both cases, the player was penalized (sent backwards) and the ending cutscene did not play.
