Hey Art, we opted to add these two figures to supplementary material during my thesis. They show nucleotide proportions stratified by variable loop. Would you like to do the same thing for this paper (add them as supp)? The first figure for insertions has an interesting result of higher G in V2 and V5. We saw the same general trend in the old data, but I think it more pronounced here in the new data.
Alternatively, would you like to use the two above to replace the pooled nucleotide proportions in the main results section? (shown below without the color scheme fixed)
