[ ] ensure cogaff is in the root .gitignore
[ ] add a script to my private server (nipogi) to pull the contents daily and add all changes into to a repo

I tried a couple of other more obvious approaches. These failed because the poplogarchive.getpoplog.org server is very low powered.
