Please provide the following information:

Primary label for the proposed term: ??

Definition: Specimen was found nearby associate. The proximity of the associate
to the specimen implicates a possible relationship between the specimen and the
associate based on the biological understanding of the organisms by the
collector.

Definition source: EOL, Tri-trophic TCN

Name of submitter: Katja Seltmann (via Ramona)

Any other information

This is problematic, because of the vagueness of being "near"

@seltmann Do you know if this request is still relevant?

seltmann commented 4 years ago

@ramonawalls it has been a while since I looked at this, but I think it is still relevant because of the vagueness of near. It means an assumed interaction, but nothing direct. There is some overlap with http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/RO_0002434 but it is not clear that the "two entities are causally connected."

These should go in RO or ECOCORE.
