Sorry but I don't have a solution yet. Also I don't have a square screen device to test so that's not fast to debug, I rely on my fellow testers that have one :) I'll come back and update here if I found something.

I've got some good news.I've reached Anbernic and asked them if that would be possible for them to give me a test unit so that I can work 1:1 specific issues, such as this one. Guess what, I'm now a member of the 1:1 display users with a rg cube xx and I was able to get this 3 days ago.
I'll pack the patch and ask for few tests on Discord before pushing the update.

Description
I see the
sm64config.txt
file is set up as follows by default:...but the port still stretches the display beyond the 1:1 screen of the RGB30. Has anyone figured out how to correct this issue?

Run the render96ex port on an RGB30, look at the screen borders in-game
