@YoadElkayam I think the toolbar should be the main way a user is navigating in the site, it will change from a page to a page, meaning the toolbar in the event page will be different than the toolbar in the group page, etc. And the navigation bar will be a generic bar at the top of the site that will always be there, what do you say?
@dankons31 I think it is better that the toolbar will be visible at all time as a generic tool bar throughout the whole app (containing things like NetHood logo, search, user's profile, notifications, login\out and support\help). And the navigation menu will appear on demand - meaning that there will be a button\icon that "calls" to the navigation menu, and than the menu appears with a slide animation, from the left hand side for that matter.
Note that what I said is true for web. For mobile the toolbar should be more concise.
I think that a complete suit should be as the following (keep mobile in mind) Top tool bar: hamburger icon, search icon and info-context related--icon. Navigation drawer(collapsible) : User icon and name, rank/favorite sport?, Events, groups, my profile, settings, about NetHood. Bottom bar: context related like Dan described, option to a fab instead of bottom bar.
The desktop interface should contain the navigation drawer(non-collapsible), and the top and bottom bars should be unified. What do you think?
I think we will have to sit about the UI in front of each other.
I have to draw something. We have to talk about every user type we have and how they interact with the NetHood system.
So please let's schedual a meeting about UI. And everyone that want to be involved in the design is invited to it.
Let's do the meeting this Tuesday? at 21:00
Which tools do we offer? Can be customizable? Which user information is included? (name, profile picture, best sport)
