Draft new publication agreement

Our terms of publication aren't formalized. For clarity, we should release a standard publication agreement and have all authors sign it going forward.

Terms:

• Creative Commons license (#18)
• Copyright (author retains copyright)
• Reprints? (would depend on Creative Commons license; we probably want to allow unconditional reprints with the author's permission & with attribution to us as the first publisher)
• Author's rights
  • deposit the article on their personal website, university repository, & elsewhere (please link to the published version)
  • right to republish in any authored or edited book without permission from us (with citation)
• Author agrees that the work includes nothing libelous or copyright infringing, and will indemnify us against liability related to the contents of the article.
• Author will seek permissions for images and media used in article at their own expense & share permissions documentation with editors
• Attestation
  • not previously published material
  • not simultaneously submitted
