Due to the print timelines, it seems like we're going to have to send 100x books to this address.
I'll confirm with Elizabeth if we can arrange for all the books to be left for others in the batch. If not, we'll have to find some way to arrange collection of the leftovers.
Sticker-wise, they'll be coming from a different location. @ivanagas it may be easiest, if you're able to attend, if we send a small box of stickers to you and then you can stick a sticker sheet in each book?
If you're not able to attend and YC are precious about deliveries then we can always drop the stickers for simplicity - I'd just like to use them to get as much visibility as possible.
James and Tim will be in town to do a talk, organized by Dalton and Elizabeth, on OSS startups. It'll be heavy YC attendance.
It's going to be on the 9th Feb (10th UK time).
It'll be held at 580 20th St, San Francisco, CA 94107 USA. Hopefully @ivanagas will also be in attendance, to mingle and help out a little bit -- but not a blocker if not.
We can't go crazy with merch, but we want to give some stuff away and use this as an opportunity to get more visibility with the YC batch. So, we'll be giving away...
Attendance numbers are unconfirmed at the moment, but 50 books and sticker sheets seems a reasonable maximum number to send.
We're assuming we can send the merch directly to the address above, with James' name on it.
Remaining questions/issues
Distribution: Ideally I'd like to make sure that everyone gets a book. If possible, we should put the books and stickers on the seats before the event begins, rather than on a table for collection afterwards. This'll help ensure we distribute them better. @ivanagas Can you maybe take care of this if you're attending?
Collection: Can we leave unused merch somewhere at the event? It would be ideal if we could leave them somewhere for other founders to collect if possible.
