correlations on cohorts #12388

Is your feature request related to a problem?

Want to understand what similarities people in a cohort have, as well as what the differences are between cohorts.

It's common to create cohorts of the most engaged/profitable users, and while the logic for creating cohorts can overlap significantly with conversion events in a funnel, it doesn't always. For example, I might want to understand users who have done some action 20 or 50 or 100 times in the past period after signing up, and also have some property which I'm not sending an event for (eg "is on paid workspace"). Currently, I if I can't easily represent a conversion sequence as a funnel, I can't see properties or events that are associated with cohort membership.

Having this predictive info could tell you what you need to change to get users into 'high value' cohorts.

Describe the solution you'd like

Run correlation analysis on cohorts

Describe alternatives you've considered

Filter a funnel by a cohort you're interested in, with some overlapping criteria. Sort of gives you something close.

Additional context

Thank you for your feature request – we love each and every one!
