SOC2 Type 2 Compliance #17503

PostHog is certified as SOC 2 Type 1 compliant since April 2023. We are currently evaluating the priority of achieving SOC2 Type 2 compliance.

SOC2 Type 2 should be the minimum requirement when handling customer data.

update: we're making good progress here, we've completed every relevant task and are in a monitoring period before it becomes official

we have also achieved hipaa compliance in the meantime
