Allow World Map based on custom country code properties #9679

Is your feature request related to a problem?

Currently the World Map chart type only works in tandem with the GeoIP plugin, and specifically its $geoip_country_code property. If you have another property with country code data, there's no way to make use of it. This was brought up by a user.

Describe the solution you'd like

Allow World Map with breakdowns based on properties other than $geoip_country_code.

It could be really cool to have the map localize to specific countries or areas, too. Or even making it possible to drill into a continent or country to understand how things are performing with more specific locales.
