Context

We need to charge for the cloud version of Squeak! to make this sustainable.

The plan is to launch without charging (in order that we don't have to build a payment flow). The app is in beta at the moment and missing a few key features.

If there is demand and these features are built, we'll then charge.

There are a few things we need to solve:

• [ ] cost of Algolia search (on cloud we currently handle this) - can we create an estimate / should we get people to insert their own credentials? Preferable to not ask users to create their own credentials unless we can't estimate.
• [ ] cost of Mailgun search (on cloud we currently handle this) - can we create an estimate / should we get people to insert their own credentials? Preferable to not ask users to create their own credentials unless we can't estimate.
• [ ] what is the actual cost of us hosting the service per pageview? Need to check we're significantly profitable here
• [ ] collect feedback if these pricing levels are reasonable from users. Feedback welcome from the community below.

For Mailgun, it's currently setup for own credentials on both self-hosted AND cloud.

That can change easily though.
