Well I think the senario I foresee is when a web designer is sitting down with a client to setup Postleaf. The client has to setup an account and they may not be tech-savvy and turning on visibility of the password defeats the purpose of a password in such a situation.
I know I've been in such situations with clients using other CMS-eseses (what is the plural of CMS???)
I always struggle with the plural of initialisms that end in S. Found this: https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/3348/plural-of-an-initialism-that-ends-with-the-letter-s
So let's go with CMSes

I love that there's a stackexchange for grammar nerds. That amazing!
I think CMSes works.
Perhaps add a password confirm field on forms related to setting, resetting and updating passwords.
