Vehicle Commands #21

Hey, I am missing a few commands for vehicle editing:

-Ability to attach a Group of Objects to a vehicle -Ability to clone Objects from a vehicle.

-Vehicle Prefabs. Useful to be able to create any vehicle in any map.

-Ability to attach a Group of Objects to a vehicle I don't see too much of a point in this, if you disagree and want to secure your point please provide details. You should always describe your suggestions, not just note them. -Ability to clone Objects from a vehicle. Both, /avmirror and /clone, will do this. -Vehicle Prefabs. Useful to be able to create any vehicle in any map. Would be nice actually, I'll look into what I need to do.

Can't believe you don't see a point in this, it could be very very useful. Let me show you a SS. You can see I made an advertisement with a few objects. And cloning them all one by one is 1) time wasting and 2) not accurate. With a prefab you can attach it and it would be done after a few seconds.

Yeah, I know /avmirror, it's useful for sure but not always. /clone doesn't work well on attached objects, it clone the object but it's not attached to the vehicle. I would keep the current command but would also add /avcloneobject so we have both.

-Vehicle Prefabs. Useful to be able to create any vehicle in any map.

It is indeed, thanks for accepting it.

I would keep the current command but would also add /avcloneobject so we have both. It's just pointless since it's can already be done with /clone and then attaching again. ...attach a Group of Objects to a vehicle... Point taken.

In my last comment I mentioned already that /clone doesn't work.. If you clone an attached object, it clones the object but it's not attached to the vehicle.

Crayder commented 9 years ago

but it's not attached to the vehicle As I said in my last post, /clone and then attaching again When it clones it should be in the same spot so this should not cause any difficulty.

When it clones it should be in the same spot so this should not cause any difficulty.

But it's not and that's the problem here ..

Ok, just checked. It looks like it would be spawning in the real object's real position (not the attached position). I'll fix it.
