Basically the title says it. It would be nice if we at least had all the Microsoft default fonts. A list here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_typefaces_included_with_Microsoft_Windows

"Microsoft" default fonts

Ya see, that's just the problem with this. The font's used in Texture Studio must be compatible with Microsoft and Linux operating systems. We have the basic common fonts.

Half of them doesn't even work or symbols.

Half of them doesn't even work or symbols.

Please explain, as far as I know they all work perfectly fine.

And the symbols are supposed to be symbols, so what's your point...?

https://imgur.com/a/Cd2mn Apologies for the black lines, it is my HUD mod.

Only 2+1 fonts are the ones that are buggy or useless for me, but that is almost 1/3 of the full list. The list for me is missing some script type fonts, the other two Wingdings, and the basic Microsoft fonts I linked before. I know half of the Microsoft fonts wouldn't work on Linux, but if their name is there, anyone can download them and shove it into their fonts folder, and vice versa with Linux fonts.

This is just a small request, but it would be really nice if we had more fonts than these 10.

Just because you don't see use in a font doesn't mean others wouldn't want to use it. For example, check out the football map that comes with TS. It uses webdings, wingdings, and gtaweapons.

And those font's that aren't working for you aren't working because you don't have them or have access to them.

I will add more based on what fonts are common across all platforms though, TODO.

Thank you! The Script style (Comic Sans, Segoe, Segoe Script) would be cool to have, also with a disclaimer to download the font files, the GTA games' default fonts (Rage Italic, Sign Painter, Pricedown, Old English Text... etc.) could make it into the list. It would be nice to have them even thought they need download.

Another idea that you just put the publicly available download file of any font you add with an instruction README file in their folder on how to add them. That I could see working.

Texture Studio is built to be completely plug and play, with the option of compiling additional things with the compile settings in tstudio.pwn.

If we were going to add the ability to add fonts we might as well of added all fonts. I'm not going to do that, but it would be a great suggestion if we could have synced fonts. Like, that would be a great 0.3.DL feature. We could make font's like the GTAWEAPONS font and create some great stuff.
