In vehicle you can use the free camera view ( bind to a key ) to watch around you without moving the vehicle or the aim target at the same time.
In jets, doing so is extremely useful to keep watching a target flying at your 3 or 6 o'clock, the problem is that the free camera view disable some of the controls of the vehicles ( like pitch/yaw ).
Fixing this issue would allow the player to watch in any directions without being forced to fly in a straight line, thus, making the jet more enjoyable and realistic in first person, something that would also fix the "first person only" mode in Hardcore .
